Objectives :
Learn equipment reliability theories and to be able to implement it in the work place; Learn theories and techniques of maintenance management in enterprise and be to implement a maintenance management system.
Aptitudes :
At the end of the class, you will be able to distinguish reliability, availibility and maintenability principles. Moreover, you will be able to model the reliability of a complex system and also developper and implement a preventive maintenance system.

Introduction to life cycle cost

Objectives :
Familiarize itself with reliability, availability and maintenability principles.
Estimate the life cycle cost of a componant or a system according to differentes conditions of use and/or maintenance politics.
Apply concepts learned to practical problems using a spreadsheet (Excel).
Aptitudes :
At the end of the class, you will be able to estimate the reliability model and the useful life of an equipment based on its available data. Moreover, you will be able to estimate the cost of different strategies of maintenance.

Value stream mapping

Objectives :
Familiarize itself with Lean manufacturing principles and the measure of Overall Equipment Effeciency(OEE).
Ability to map a process using standard symbols, measure the performance and identify the bottleneck.
Apply concepts learned to practical problems using a spreadsheet (Excel).
Aptitudes :
At the end of the class, you will be able to perform a value stream mapping of a production system and estimate its performance (OEE). Moreover, you will be able to identify the bottleneck.
